Brock Struggles
Whats gooooooddd everybody ?
So its official i have officially started my University Career at Brock University. The road to Brock has taken 2 years and finally i have a jersey with my last name on the back of it. It is not exactly what i imagined it would be. i mean i knew from the get go that University was almost all POLITICS!- but when you actually see it first hand it can really blow your mind. It has been 3 games into the start of a LONG season. My first university game in front of my homecity, where my past coaches and longtime friends came out to watch and my P2 driving from her hometown to watch me play ( and to try to put on) ... and they all came to see me DNP ( did not play) . it was hard to swallow.. TRUSSSSTT MEEE.... but i figured it was another test that this coach was trying to put on me... anyways one hard week of practice and we were back at it. 2 games this past weekend and the shaddyness AGAIN was there. Only got to play 4 minutes ( 6 points, 1 board, 1 steal) i figured somethings gotta give... the second game I started the second half ( did not play the first half) but played and ended the game . ( 8 points, 3 assist, 2 boards) ... this is what iv been telling my self all weekend!!! if Coach hasnt notice me before, HE HAS TO NOTICE ME NOW!!!!! and if he still hasnt notice me, HE NEVER WILL...

Now this is going to be a little difficult, so stay with me,
How much does your life weight? Imagine for a second that u are carry a backpack…I want u to pack it with all the stuff that u have in your life... start with the little things the shelves, drawers and knickknacks. And then u start adding larger stuff clothes, table top appliances, lamps your TV. Backpack should be getting pretty heavy now. You go bigger, the couch your car your home. I want u to stuff it all into that backpack….Now I want u to fill it with people… start with casual acquaintances, friends of friends folks around the office… then u move into people the that u trust with your most intimate secrets. Brothers your sisters your children your parents and finally your husband your wife boyfriends your girlfriends. You get them into the backpack… feel the weight of the bag.. Make no mistake your relationships are the heaviest components in you life. All those negotiations, and arguments and secrets and comprises. The slower we move the faster we die. Make no mistake. Moving is living. Some animals were meant to carry each other to live symbolically over a life time, star cross lovers, anonymous swans, we are not swans... Were sharks.

I know I havent been on my blog in a Minute, I just been busy with school and ball peoples. But everything is gravy out here, Im home sick styll not even going to lie... Miss my Fam and the people important to me from Suaga. I will try to be down Most weekends thats a promise....
Basketball is going well... we look solid and its a battle at practice.... we battle hard and we go hard at eachother which will only help us... we look good but young, but we will surprise a couple teams ... Summer Of O9
I know we didn't get the weather we wanted but, but I still enjoyed myself I had a great summer. I got my fair share of ball games in- a couple championships ( montreal champs, sheridan summer league champs) I put on!
I also had a blast in Miami, Florida with my main man webb songz, speaking of songz I got to see trey Songz @ circa this summer... Carabana Weekend! On another note I had great summer with My princess!!! P2 thanks for an amazing summer... I really found something deep inside of me that I never thought would come out! - you truly are the best. Thanks for the great summer nights and amazing weekends we spent together. And trust me more to come!!!! ;)
Oh boy summer is over, some of us back to work and some of us back to school, for some people their journey begins NOW!!! So good luck to all my people who are out there doing there thing and good luck to everyone!!! Summer of 09 baby !!!! Summer I will not forget and its because of you P2!!!!!

Mabuhay Cup Results
Mabuhay Cup09- sad to say that it was a very upsetting feeling loosing to the
Two time( now 3-time back to back champions) toronto falcons. Congratulations on the win!
I think we just played with bad and had no control of the game from tip-off!
its all good, a special shout out to our young superstar Matthew Wright for leading us all tournament long!
And another shout out to Jayson N. For organizng our LaKan team! Thanks Parj!
All weekend we played very well and we played as One! Shots just didn't drop
For us in the finals! And trust me I hate loosing but you win some and you loose some!
Our next tournament will be in Chicago where as of now I'll be representing Vaughn .
I'll keep yall updated when that tourney comes around ( long weekend)
On another note it was a great tournament! Playing against AJ Mandani, Ali, Allan Garcia, and my dude Teddy who all can be
Easily considered as some of the top filippino ballers around the Toronto area.
Congratulations to our Young Lakan Crew - who represented GMA, and put on in everygame that they played.
Big ups to the Co-Mvps' Ac and Paulo... From what I heard they were down 9 at one point and battled back to win the ship!
Bright Future ahead for these Youths! Big ups!

Mabuhay Cup O9
So we have been anticipating this filipino for quite some time now and now the first day of games is finished. Our team Team lakan went 2-0 today defeating top ranked team Toronto Falcons( has won in two years in a row)
- there will be no 3-peat happening this year! During the first game.
We were up 18 with 10 minutes to go and a couple missed box out and miscommunication with the pick and roll we found ourselves only up by 6. Anyways we got the victory!
Our second game we faced durhan a team with decent guards that are quick, but we proved to be too strong for the heavily guarded team!
Our next game will be tommorow at 10:50 and when we win that game that will put us in the semis vs vaugn,toronto or grizzlies. Anyways its getting late. Tommorow is a big day! 3 more games to win and we raised the cup!
